Welcome to Mandarino Cafe, a delightful gem nestled in the heart of Roma Norte, a neighborhood celebrated for its vibrant culture and culinary scene. Located at Cordoba 136 Esquina con Guanajuato, this charming café is an oasis for coffee lovers and casual diners alike. With its inviting atmosphere and friendly service, Mandarino Cafe promises an experience where you can unwind, socialize, or find a cozy corner to work remotely.

This family-owned establishment takes pride in serving up high-quality fare made in-house from fresh ingredients. Imagine indulging in a heavenly quiche, loaded with crispy bacon and tender leeks, golden and fluffy—it's what customer Jacob Taylor called "perfection in an egg pie." The rich aroma and delightful presentation will have your taste buds dancing with joy.

For coffee aficionados, Mandarino Cafe shines bright. Using organic coffee beans sourced from Oaxaca, the café crafts exceptional brews that elevate the coffee experience in Mexico City. Perfect your visit by trying the brandy espresso, a specialty that Jacob notes is a must-try for anyone seeking that perfect pick-me-up. And if you’re in the mood for something refreshing, the Aperol spritz adds a lively touch to the café’s drink menu, making it a great choice for those lazy afternoons.

The ambiance evokes a sense of warmth and community; it’s a space where you can feel like family. Sharareh Behjou commended the café for its comfortable and spacious setting, perfect for remote work, with fast internet and cozy chairs. Customers can take advantage of both indoor seating that exudes an intimate atmosphere and an al fresco area that allows for people-watching from a quiet corner. As you sip your drink, the sound of jazz or classic rock playing in the background will surely enhance your experience.

And let’s not forget the sweet treats! The homemade desserts, like the incredible cheesecake mentioned by Benjamin Brown, tempt even the toughest critics. The enchanting smell of freshly baked goods wafts through the café, making it impossible to resist sampling a homemade cookie or a slice of cake. Caleb Kimbley described the delightful atmosphere as akin to sitting in a pastry kitchen, where the air is filled with the mouthwatering scent of brown butter. Truly, every visit offers something new and scrumptious to try!

While some reviews mention that service could be a tad slow, it is evident that the staff is dedicated to providing a personalized touch, making each guest feel valued and appreciated. As customer Jocelyn Ulevicus noted, the consistency and friendliness of the service is a hallmark of Mandarino, further enhancing the welcoming environment this café is known for.

In a bustling city like Mexico City, where vibrant culture and rich culinary experiences await, Mandarino Cafe stands out as more than just a cafe; it’s a beloved retreat for coffee lovers, foodies, and remote workers alike. Whether you're popping in for a quick bite or planning to linger over multiple cups of coffee, the joys of Mandarino await you. Don’t miss this oasis in Roma Norte—your taste buds will thank you!

A superior quiche! Bacon and leak. Perfection in an egg pie. Everything made in-house. If you've never tried a brandy espresso this is the place. Thanks Alejandro!

Mandarino Café is located on the corner of Guanajuato and Cordoba. They feature lite fare, serving coffee beverages and also alcoholic beverages. Their Aperol spritz was good. Seating is available inside and al fresco.

Highly recommend this family owned cafe for remote work. It’s spacious, comfortable. Perfectly situated on a quiet corner. The service is incredible, they always treat you like family Fast internet. Comfy chairs. Excellent coffee. Delicious food. They use organic coffee beans from Oaxaca. Best espresso I’ve had in Mexico City & trust me I’ve tried many coffee shops!!! All their bread, desserts, cookies are made in house & you can really tell!! Just had the best flan of my life yesterday. Trust me, this is the best cafe in Mexico City. Whether you are looking for the perfect cafe to work out of or just a really good cup of coffee. This is your place.

I highly recommend Mardarino!!! During my stay in Mexico City, I visited this gem nearly every day for either a coffee, a fresh juice, and or a homemade cookie. I went so often, I even had a favorite table! The service was consistent and friendly, and the best part, besides the service and fresh drinks, was that there was always great music on, ranging from Jazz to Classic Rock. Over all, Mandarino is a sweet corner spot to people watch, replenish, and chill. Visit this space and support this wonderful family owned business. I will definitely be back!

Café Mandarino is a cozy and comfortable space, the entrance is a step down so when you’re sitting you’ll be eye level to the street. Great for sitting and enjoying the bookshelf and observing the movement of the neighborhood. The food is all made from scratch and the smell of brown butter permeates the air and feels like sitting in a pastry kitchen. The staff is lovely and the service is attentive and kind.

A cozy and cute café on the corner of one of the many leafy streets in the Roma neighborhood. Service was a bit slow, but the drinks, such as the matcha latte and chai latte, were not bad, but nothing out of the ordinary. The drinks were served in milkshake glasses with metal straws, which I am personally not a fan of. Seating outside can bring the occasional beggar or street vendor, so I would opt to sit inside to avoid distractions.
